Javier Rodríguez Rodríguez
Awarded with a top degree of Master in Chemical Engineering from the University of Granada, Javier worked as a R&D technician in Cotton South S.L., Granada, during which he developed extensive knowledge of fibres and cellulose, as well a broad appreciation of paper industry. His background fits exceptionally well with our project, in collaboration with FiberLean, to develop a sustainable manufacturing process of micro-fibrillated cellulose.
The plan is to investigate the grinding process that is very energy intensive as a function of the formulation, using tribological principles to understand the interactions over multiple length scales. The learning will enhance the sustainability of the manufacturing process of MFC.
In addition to the broad interest in science and technology, Javier’s daily routine includes music and hanging out with friends!
