Aneesa Nabi

Aneesa is from Glasgow where I spent two years’ fond memory. She pursued a Master degree from the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Strathclyde, during which she had her placement at DuPont Teijin Film where I spent a year as Industrial Fellow that was sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering. There are certainly a few overlaps between our trajectory but we never got to know each other until she applied for an EngD project funded by Innospec.

Aneesa started in August 2019, and was commissioned to develop new additives targeting glazed ceramics. This is a classic polymer physics system with formulation engineering orientation, with one of the end applications being how to keep our toilet bowl clean.
